I'm Faye, owner of Faye Amanda Photography. I Live in Cheshire with my husband, son, step daughter, little dog Peggy

My days off are full of football matches, training, being the kids taxi/cash machine and all of the usual parenting bits and bobs. Me and my husband occasionally get a night off being parents which usually ends up with a hangover haha. 

 

My Photography journey started as a hobby back when I was a child and I won a camera in a spice girls fancy dress competition (how embarrassing) ...

I've always loved the thought of capturing a moment in time and take great joy in  looking back on all of my own and family members old photos. I will be completely honest I didn't think it would ever materialise into a business but here I am. From working in bars, retail, call centres, marketing and the hire industry I am finally doing what I absolutely adore. My family were really encouraging and pushed me to follow my dreams. I am now full time and get bookings years in advance, which is just mind blowing when I think back to the start of my journey. 

 

The studio is my baby. It is where I started photography as a profession. I've seen so many family's grow over the years and have become good friends with allot of people that have come through the studio door. 

 

The very first wedding I photographed was for one of my very close friends at West Tower in Ormskirk. I was also a bridesmaid which wasn't too easy but we managed it very well and I survived in heals all day whilst lugging my kit around and yes the camera came back out later after many drinks. 

 

I will say that if you're looking for a boring photographer with no personality I am not the person for you haha. I'm bubbly, love a giggle and don't take myself too seriously. There hasn't been a wedding where by the end of the day we haven't felt like we have known each other for years. 

 

I love food and wine so at a wedding if there's some extra grub going or a sweet stand I'm totally there!

 

My passion for photography with lots of hard work and dedication became a vocation and has taken me all over the UK and abroad. The people I've met within the industry have been like family to me and I know if ever needed they are just a call away.
